Update Signs

Update signs are the best way to ensure that staff have all the latest health and safety information at their fingertips. A good example is the First Aid update sign. This has blank spaces for the names of the first aiders and their departments, but obviously, this can change over time.

All the employer has to do to update the sign is to print out the new details onto the insert templates and apply to the sign. There are styles where a photo of the relevant staff member can also be added to the sign so that visitors can recognise them easily.

A similar type of sign can also be used to help with fire safety. If you want to make sure that everyone knows who the fire marshals are in the building, then a Fire Marshal update sign is a must. The templates allow for new names to be added when needed. They can be updated in minutes so there is no reason why any health and safety noticeboard should be out of date.

The signs are applied to the wall or noticeboard using the self-adhesive tabs that are supplied separately. The same principle applies to general information update signs - these have sections for employee contact details, general health and safety information or anything that you think is relevant to the day-to-day running of the business. Keeping workers and visitors informed of essential data is important in order to ensure maximum compliance to health and safety regulations.
