Site Smoking Signs

The smoking ban may have been in place since 2007 - or 2006 if you live in Scotland - but there are still some ambiguities present when it comes whether or not smoking is allowed on construction sites, as it is largely left up to the discretion of the employer.

If you plan on running a no smoking construction site, it's important to let your employees and visitors know this as plainly as possible, which is why Safetyshop carries site smoking signs. As with all other warning, prohibitive or instructional signs, these should be hung in as clear and obvious a place as possible so that they are easy to see and read.

Safetyshop's smoking signs are available as multi-message signs, thereby allowing you to communicate a number of different messages at once. Not only do these signs help keep costs down, they also make sure all your bases are covered when it comes to warning or instructional signs on-site.These site safety signs include four different messages, highlighting the need for safety helmets to be worn or the dangers of construction sites, as well warning against unauthorised access and smoking, and telling visitors to report to reception. Placed around a construction site, these signs remind workers and visitors of the need for personal protective equipment (PPE) as well as the general dangers of being in such an environment. Both signs are available in four different sizes and in one of four materials: Correx fluted polypropylene, which is very versatile and great for use in temporary circumstances; rigid plastic, which is good for long periods of use; and vinyl.
