Hazard Warning Signs

Hazard warning signs are used to inform workers and the public about any hazardous materials or locations that may be present at particular premises. Organisations should erect hazard warning signs to conform with the Health & Safety (Safety Signs and Signals) Regulations 1996.

These signs typically feature black text and pictograms on a yellow background. In order to prevent people from accidentally entering a dangerous work space where chemicals, high-voltage electricity, large vehicles or deep water may put their lives in danger, these signs should be placed in safe spots and fixed in a visible position.

Hazard and Risk Signs: Buying Guide

Asbestos can cause fatal diseases and pose a huge risk to employees if they are exposed to or inhale particles including amosite, crocidolite and chrysotile in the workplace. We have a range of Asbestos Warning Signs designed to provide clear and concise warnings and information about the presence and condition of asbestos. They all comply with the Control of Asbestos at Work Regulations and are ideal for duty holders and employers required to manage risks and exposure.

For general purpose warning signs, you may wish to opt for a selection of the 6-Pack Hazard Warning Signs we offer, which can be used to warn against dangers such as fragile roofs, slippery surfaces, trip hazards, very hot water and guard dogs.

Our most extensive range of warning signs are for general dangers at construction sites, schools and other locations where the presence of potential hazards must be effectively communicated to both visitors and employees. Many of these signs can be mounted and secured using our Industrial Heavy-Duty Cable Ties.

There is no better way to provide visual warnings to reduce potential risks and dangers than with our hazard warning signs; get in touch if you require more information.
