Protective Footwear Signs

Making a workplace safe includes providing training, procedures, instructions and supervision to encourage all staff to work in a way that is safe and responsible. However, it is not possible to remove all hazards, and in these cases, personal protective equipment will be required. It is then the responsibility of the employer to provide that equipment as well as guidance on how and when it should be used. Employers should provide products that comply with the personal protective equipment regulations, and the equipment should be stored securely. Signs indicating that protective equipment must be worn in an area encourage employees to use the equipment.

Safetyshop's Foot Protection Must Be Worn Signs provide clear instructions on the use of protective footwear. The signs can be positioned around the workplace near areas where protective footwear is required, and they comply with the Health and Safety (Safety Signs and Signals) Regulations of 1996. In line with the stipulations of these regulations, the signs have a blue circular background with a white pictogram. Additionally, the signs comply with all current EU and UK legislation. An alternative is our Wear Boots Signs, which can be positioned anywhere they are required. Both signs can be clearly seen, are durable and reasonably priced. For a safe and productive workplace, the safety of all employees and any visitors is paramount, and clear signs placed in the correct location will contribute to making any workplace safer and ultimately more productive.
