Bold 'Danger 400 Volts' Electrical Hazards Warning Sign

High-voltage generators, wires and machinery can be very dangerous, particularly if users and passers-by aren’t aware of the risks. If your business or organisation has to work with high-voltage equipment, it is imperative that you warn your employees and members of the public about the electric current flowing through it. In fact, you’re under a legal obligation to do so. According to the Health and Safety (Safety Signs and Signals) Regulations of 1996, you must display warning signs wherever there are hazards in your workplace. Our high-voltage warning signs allow you to comply with these regulations and (more importantly), keep your employees and members of the public safe.

Our 400-volt hazard signs are designed to be displayed on or near any piece of equipment, regardless of the amount of surface space you have available or the shape of the surface you need to put them on. They are available in a wide spectrum of different sizes, ranging from 70 x 50mm to 420 x 297mm, so they can fit anywhere. They are also available in a variety of different materials which are suitable for different surface types. Our polypropylene rigid plastic signs are very resilient and can be put in place with screws, nails or similar fixings to ensure they don’t fall off. They are also suitable for strong, flat surfaces (such as walls). If you can’t use nails or other fixings for any reason, you can opt for our self-adhesive rigid plastic option. If the surface you need to fix the sign to is curved or can’t hold much weight, you might prefer our lighter, more flexible self-adhesive vinyl option.

Regardless of what size and material you choose, the high-voltage warning signs we supply are guaranteed to be durable and sturdy. These signs are also highly visible, thanks to their black-on-yellow colour scheme which is instantly recognisable as a warning.

These warning signs are specifically for use where there are 400-volt electric currents. If you need to warn users of different voltages or other hazards, you can find similar signs in our danger warning signs range. You can find other signs to maintain health and safety in the workplace by visiting our safety signs category page.
