Glow-in-the-Dark 'In Case of Fire, Do Not Use Lift' Dual-Message Sign
- Most lifts will stop functioning if a fire alarm is set off, but to stop people wasting time trying to operate them and to warn people not to use them in case they are still working, you should display clear signs notifying people of the risk.
- This sign features two messages, for a more comprehensive warning that increases visibility and impact. Underneath the standard warning that lifts should not be used is a second message instructing people to use the stairs instead. This helps people understand what they should do, even if they're confused and worried.
- Designed with photoluminescent print, the sign glows brightly for over six hours in low light, ensuring it can be seen whatever the conditions are.
- When lifts aren't operational during a fire, disabled people should be given help to evacuate with an evacuation chair.
- We produce two photoluminescent implements: Xtra-Glo & Nite-Glo. Nite-Glo (PSPA Class B classification) will stay luminous for 6 hours with a recharge time of 5 minutes in normal lighting. Whereas Xtra-Glo (PSPA Class C classification) will keep gleaming for 24 hours. To ensure you are fully compliant with ISO 16069, you will need to set Xtra-Glo signage in place. Grade of luminescence is suggestive and therefore can vary based on circumstance including positioning of product or the quantity of exposed natural light in the application area.
