First aid sterile eye dressings
- This first aid eye dressing is simple to use and ensures the appropriate workplace response to an eye injury, by providing the opportunity for the eye to be covered by a sterile soft dressing pad.
- The dressing is secured in place on the eye, with the use of a length of stretch bandage, which can be wrapped around the head of the patient, preventing the pad from slipping off. This will be necessary for the journey to seek expert medical attention. With the sterile pad in place, further contamination or injury to the eye will be prevented during the journey.
- The eye dressings are supplied in packs of 10, individually wrapped and 100% sterile.
- Prior to the use of the sterile eye dressing, the eye may have needed washing out with an appropriate eye wash solution, which should be available in your first aid kit or via one of these eyewash bottle stations at your site.
