Photoluminescent Fire Safety Signs With 'Emergency Door Release' Message
- It is essential that directions to fire escapes are visible at all times and in all conditions. Photoluminescent signs are an ideal way to ensure that signage can be seen – even in the event that the main light source becomes unavailable, such as in the event of a power cut. This glow-in-the-dark coating, which is often used in safety signage, stays reflective for up to 24 hours once a strong light source is shone on it.
- These glow-in-the-dark emergency door release signs are ideal for placing on your fire doors to ensure that their instructions for use are clear at all times. The photoluminescent signs can be placed directly onto your doors and display a clear message for all. They come in a green colour, which is instantly associated with fire safety signage, and display a pictogram that illustrates the door opening. It is also easy to fix these square fire safety signs into place – in most cases, the self-adhesive on the back of the vinyl signs will stick to a smooth dry surface for an ultra-strong hold.
- Don’t let power cuts prevent your fire safety signage from being seen; our range of photoluminescent fire safety signs are designed to provide up to 24 hours of glow once activated by a good light source, enabling these signs to continue to provide visible directions, even in the dark.
- Our photoluminescent door signs are most effective when combined with a range of other glow-in-the-dark fire safety signage. These Nite-Glo push signs are ideal additions to any push-to-open fire door.
- We produce two photoluminescent implements: Xtra-Glo & Nite-Glo. Nite-Glo (PSPA Class B classification) will stay luminous for 6 hours with a recharge time of 5 minutes in normal lighting. Whereas Xtra-Glo (PSPA Class C classification) will keep gleaming for 24 hours. To ensure you are fully compliant with ISO 16069, you will need to set Xtra-Glo signage in place. Grade of luminescence is suggestive and therefore can vary based on circumstance including positioning of product or the quantity of exposed natural light in the application area.
