High-quality 'danger arc welding' signs

If you carry out arc welding in your premises, you are required by law to make visitors and other members of staff aware of the dangers. Arc welding can be hazardous, especially if eyes are not properly protected from the high-intensity light of the welding arc.

The Health and Safety (Safety Signs and Signals) regulations 1996 states that hazard signs should be displayed throughout your premises to warn other employees and visitors of any potential hazards within the workplace. Our high-quality arc welding warning signs are a convenient way to warn employees and visitors that arc welding is in progress and that precautions should be taken.

Simple to set up and made from durable flame-resistant plastic, these hazard warning signs are a must for any engineering workshop or car repair facility, where arc welding takes place.

Our arc welding warning signs form part of our collection of workplace hazard warning signs which are available for a number of different workshop hazards, such as chemical spills and trip hazards.

All our warning signs comply with the new BS EN ISO 7010 which is designed to harmonise the iconography of signs used across the European Union. Now there is no confusion about the meaning of warning signs from members of other European states. BS EN ISO 7010 states that signs should be clear and legible, clearly identifying actions that should be prohibited and precautions that should be taken.

All our hazard warning signs fold away for easy storage when not in use, so you can simply store the sign with your welding equipment. Now there is no excuse for not displaying the sign when arc welding is in operation, ensuring Health and Safety regulations are adhered to at all times.
