Battery Powered Carbon Monoxide Detector

Carbon monoxide is among the most deadly dangers posed by indoor environments and the consequences of CO poisoning can be fatal to humans. Without a CO alarm, it is impossible to detect this invisible, odourless and deadly gas; installing an effective detector can be the difference between life and death, alerting you to the presence of CO before it becomes harmful. This battery operated carbon monoxide protector and alarm is ideal for placing in key positions throughout your facility.

The simple to operate portable device can be fixed onto any surface, such as a table, wall or ceiling, and uses an electrochemical sensor to detect the presence of carbon monoxide in the air. Upon detection, the CO device sounds an 85 decibel alarm, enabling you to quickly implement evacuation protocols. The carbon monoxide device comes with three flashing LED lights to indicate its status; a green light indicates that it is powered, the red light indicates that it is in alarm mode, and a yellow light means that the battery is low.

The CO monitoring device also has a test button, so that you can rest assured it is in working order at all times. There is also a drop-down action chart on the monitor for quick reference. As with all of our carbon monoxide alarms, this CO detector has been fully manufactured and tested to UL2034 standards, as well as being CE tested and certified, so you can be assured of its quality and function. As the presence of carbon monoxide in the air is thankfully a rare occurrence, this simple device has been designed for long-term use; even if the alarm hasn’t sounded for long periods of time, it will still be effective at detection – just use the test feature at regular intervals to check its alarm.

Make sure you are installing the right equipment to alert your staff and visitors to an emergency situation. Our range of fire and carbon monoxide alarms and testers has something for every facility.

    Customer Reviews

Service: I started using Safety Shop 8 years ago and now in 2016 am still using them for safety signage and storage for hazardous materials. They have a great range of products at a fair price. The staff are always quick in answering the phone and are helpful on product choice.

Product: The Carbon monoxide Detector was a surprisingly nice compact size so when installed it was unobtrusive.

Service: The woman I spoke with was very helpful

    Product: Good

Service: This is the first product I have purchased from Pure Safety, but it seems to do the job!

Product: It's reassuring that the product is monitoring the air quality near our domestic boiler
